DerekTRERISEDerek Trerise passed away peacefully on 15th September 2024 aged 89.
Born on 9th November 1934 to Jack and Alice Trerise, he was married to Gillian (née Bloomfield) for over 60 years.
Derek worked at Wheal Jane Mine and as part of the Wheal Jane tug of war team travelled to South Africa and won the world championships.
Derek and Gillian later moved to France where they lived for a number of years before returning to Cornwall.
Derek is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
